Delaware Relief Grant Compliance Letters

The Delaware Relief Grants provided Delaware small businesses and nonprofits access to funds to cover expenses and provide relief related to COVID-19.

The State of Delaware Division of Small Business has recently delivered letters to grant recipients who have failed to satisfy Grant reporting requirements.

If a letter has been received, actions must be taken by 4:30 p.m. on November 4, 2022. If reporting obligations are not satisfied, the State will demand immediate repayment or convert the remaining amount into a loan per Sections 7 and 8 of the Grant agreement. Recipients would have received the letter if they failed to provide any (or insufficient) documentation to fulfill the requirements of the agreement (i.e., support does not show proof of payment, valid receipt, or incomplete tax returns).

If you have received a letter, details on how to fulfill your remaining obligations can be found in the Delaware Relief Grant portal:

If you have not received a letter but were a recipient of a Grant, it is recommended that you also log into the Grant portal to check that there are no outstanding matters with your Grant submission.

As a reminder, the deadline for compliance with all conditions and obligations of your Grant agreement is 4:30 p.m. on November 4, 2022. No further extensions will be granted.

If you have received a letter, consult with your CPA on immediate actions required to satisfy the Grant requirements.
